LYDIUM LAUNCH SERIES

BDF + STREAM TABLE

Visualize your process with clarity and confidence

The Challenge

You understand your technology, but you need a clear, professional representation of your process and a high-level mass balance to align your team, communicate with investors, and serve as the foundation for future engineering work. Hand-drawn sketches and PowerPoint boxes aren’t cutting it anymore.

The Solution

We build you a professional Block Flow Diagram (BFD) with accompanying stream table that captures your process in just the right amount of detail. This becomes your reference document for the next 12-18 mos.

What you get

Deep-dive discussion with our process engineer to understand your technology, unit operations, and material flows

  • Professional engineering drawing in 11×17 format that includes your logo
  • All core and auxiliary unit operations
  • Material flows between blocks shown as arrows
  • Utilities, water, and emissions blocks and streams

Mass balance table showing flows and compositions for all major input, output, intermediary streams

Design intent clearly stated, and assumptions noted, on the drawing

Opportunity to provide feedback and ensure deliverable meets your needs

Prerequisites and client responsibilities

We will need 4-8 hours of time from your technology expert to introduce your process and answer questions. We will ask you to define the performance and chemistry of any specialized process blocks.

Scope & limitations: All Launch deliverables are conceptual-level engineering suitable for study purposes, strategic planning, and investor communications. Work is not for construction, regulatory submission, or detailed design.

Delivery: Standard delivery is 2 weeks from the project initiation meeting. Project initiation date is subject to availability and will be communicated prior to confirming the engagement. Timeline begins when client provides all required inputs (specified per service) and the initiation meeting is held. One round of revisions included based on clarifications or corrections; scope changes constitute new work. All work is executed and delivered remotely.

Client responsibilities: Client must provide: (1) technical information about their process/technology, (2) available data, flow rates, or ranges, (3) designated point of contact for technical questions, (4) timely feedback on drafts (48-hour response time required to maintain schedule).
